ElderHelp of North Idaho is a service group focused on assisting with the needs of low income area seniors.

Historically, the group has provided wood to help with winter fuel needs, access ramps, and other general asssitance to those in Kootenai County locations.

A new program called "Elder Companion" is being offered in our area. Elder Companions serve on-on-one with the elderly, some of whom may have difficulty completing everyday tasks. They visit, attend local events, take trips to the library, grocery store, medical appointments, etc. and provide a "friendly" point of contact for those they help.
